Cardi B has had enough of online trolls on the Instagram page of her daughter Kulture, whom she shares with 30-year-old rapper Offset. Following a surge of offensive comments, the now mother of 2 made it perfectly clear that the account was off-limits to social media users who had any intention of antagonizing her daughter.
It all started when the Be Careful singer noticed some screenshots a fan had taken of the hate messages being shared on Twitter. The screenshots captured the nasty comments about Kulture, including one that read, "Such a mistake child," and another one calling the toddler "obese." Posts uploaded by Cardi on the three-year-old's Instagram page included several photos of the mother and daughter, several of which featured the two in matching outfits. The account had initially been opened for the three-year-old in September 2020 and has since gained 2.3 million followers. The page's bio reads, "Hey buddies - Kulture's official page - I like everything pink - Spoiled - This page is managed by my mommy @iamcardib." But it seems we'll no longer be tagging along for the ride.
The 29-year-old rapper shared the fan's tweet containing the screenshots, adding a caption slamming online trolls who made the comments. In the now-deleted tweet, she also wished death upon their mothers for what they posted about her daughter. She also seemed to reaffirm the message in response to a user's since-deleted tweet, saying, "I said what I said." In her tweet, Cardi declared that she would be "locking [her daughter's] page" because of the hate comments and admitted that she "hadn't been checking [her] daughter's account" and was unaware of the issue. The tweet has since been deleted, but the promised action was indeed taken: 3-year-old Kulture's Instagram page is no longer available to the public.
Cardi B also shares a son with Offset, whom the couple recently welcomed in September 2021. Although Cardi has shared several photos of her daughter, Kulture's brother has been kept out of the spotlight so far. The recent incident involving Kulture's Instagram page might push the rapper to keep her children's lives more private in the future. We guess we'll have to wait and find out. Stay tuned.
