Cardi B has just added one more thing to her already long resume! She revealed on December 2 that she has been named Playboy Magazine's first-ever creative director. Here's everything you need to know.
"Today is a Playboy milestone," the company captioned the image they posted on Instagram. A day later, the singer posted that she was riding on Playboy's very own private jet, the Big Bunny. The rapper said, “It’s a dream come true to officially join the Playboy family. I can’t believe this is real. For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt connected to Playboy. It’s truly the original platform for uncensored creativity and I’m inspired by its incredible legacy of fighting for personal freedoms. I have so many ideas already – I can’t wait!”

Cardi is a mom, a best-selling artist, and a hilarious social media presence. Now, as part of her new job, she will be handling Centerfold, a platform she co-created with Playboy. Centerfold is similar to the website OnlyFans, it allows "content creators to interact directly with fans." It will include, "digital covers, feature stories, interviews and, of course, striking and sensual pictorials. We will also arm our creators with access to content production, merchandise capabilities, blockchain integration, and more."
The Bodak Yellow artist explained why she said yes to joining the team, “Creators today deserve to express themselves freely and unfiltered. This is the first time Playboy has had a creative director. The company's chief executive officer, Ben Kohn, said they decided Cardi was the right first because she is the "embodiment of the Playboy brand," since she expresses herself in a carefree matter. Kohn added, "I can’t wait to see what Cardi and our team develop together with our merchandise design, development and distribution capabilities and our best-in-class content production.”
