Over Thanksgiving weekend, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson surprised Navy veteran, Oscar Rodriguez, with a special gift. The Jumanji star gave his personal car, a custom-made Ford pickup truck to Rodriguez, as a way of saying thanks for everything Rodriguez does.

Johnson shared the exchange with his Instagram followers, by posting a series of videos and pictures. The duo can be seen standing next to the car as the veteran opens up a note that read, "Oscar--Thanks for all your service, brother. Enjoy your new truck!" Rodriquez falls to the ground with disbelief. He posted a snap of the paper with the caption, "I knew right away that I would cherish this card for the rest of my life." The 49-year old actor said in the video, "Just an honor for me to give a little bit of joy to a dude who deserves probably a lot more than just my truck." This came after he applauded Rodriguez for being "kind to his core." He provides for his grandma, helps out his church, works as a personal trainer, and even assists domestic violence victims. Wow, no wonder 'The Rock' wanted to show the fan his appreciation.

This all took place in Los Angeles, during a special Thanksgiving showing of Johnson's, latest movie Red Notice. The actor explained in the caption, "My original idea was to give away the Porsche Taycan, that I drive in the movie, Red Notice. So we reached out to Porsche, but they said no." But it seemed like the fan didn't mind receiving the F-150 Raptor instead. He shared on Instagram, "What a day! I'll cherish every moment for the rest of my life. God is good. Jesus is Lord. The Rock is Awesome. Goodness Wins. Life is Wild. Never give up! It's all just LOVE!"

The touching surprise even got the attention of the CEO of Ford, Jim Farley. He retweeted Johnson's Twitter post of the exchange and wrote, "Kindness matters. Nice work, DJ @TheRock. And thank you for your service, @ORodri240 That's a great truck! #F150Raptor."

Indeed he is right, kindness definitely matters, especially during this holiday season. We hope Oscar enjoys his new truck!
