Celebrations are officially in order: Our certified lover boy is a certified birthday boy. Drake just rang in his latest big milestone, and you can bet it was one for the books. From his themed party to the Instagram posts that followed, here's how the rapper celebrated.
On Saturday, October 23, the One Dance rapper brought out the cowboy boots as he celebrated the big day - Halloween style. That's right. Drizzy's star-studded celebration paid homage to spooky season. And while our invites must have gotten lost in the mail, here's what we missed that night at Goya Studios...
Aside from Drizzy’s look – “Chico Amante,” as he put it, the L.A. kickback saw our favorite stars bring out their best looks. From Larsa Pippen, who came as Scarface’s Elvira Hancock, to Kawhi Leonard, who came dressed as, well, himself, the ‘fits that made a debut were just as outrageous as the festivities that night.
Not only did Drizzy rent out Goya Studios' massive sound stage for the celebrations, but he topped off his big day with a legendary performance from pal French Montana. "Happy... birthday to the goat, my twin @champagnepapi this... 4life n after," French Montana nodded the birthday boy. "We turning up tonight."
Safe to say, it's been nonstop fun at the Graham household these days. In case you forgot, just a few weeks ago, Drake was busy celebrating a different birthday boy as his little man Adonis turned 4. "TEACHA MORE LIFE KID," the rapper wrote, alongside a snap of himself and his son.
But from the sounds of it, there's lots more adventures where that came from. "I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son," Drizzy explained of documenting his journey to parenthood. "I don't want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be, you know, a 'celebrity' that I got to make everybody live under this blanket."
You heard it hear first - stay tuned. And of course, happy birthday to the 6 God.
