Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian Undergoes Urgent Fetal Surgery

Kourtney Kardashian has taken to Instagram to share the news of a recent emergency with her social media followers. The reality TV star, who is pregnant with husband Travis Barker's baby, revealed that she'd had to undergo an urgent fetal surgery this week. Here's what happened.
Kardashian posted a black-and-white photo featuring her arm with an IV in it, holding hands with her other half. “I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this,” the lengthy caption below the photo began. “As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant," she continued.
The Kardashians star is also a mother to three children - Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8 - who she shares with ex Scott Disick. Earlier this summer, on June 16, 2023 Kourt announced she was pregnant with Travis' child at his Blink-182 concert, where she held up a sign that read, "Travis I'm pregnant" from the audience. On Friday, September 1st, Blink-182 announced it was forced to postpone several of its scheduled European shows because Travis was going through a "family emergency." Fans learned only a few days later, thanks to a source who shared with People, that Kourtney had been in the hospital for a brief period of time.

Now back home with her kids, “she is feeling better,” the insider added. “She is happy to have Travis back home, too.” Kourt's recent Instagram post expressed her relief and gratitude to be back home and safe with her family.
