Megan Thee Stallion has recently opened up about the alleged Tory Lanez shooting at Kylie Jenner's party in 2020. In an emotional interview, the Hot Girl Summer rapper told Gayle King about what went down that night and the aftermath of the incident...
According to Megan's previous claims, she was shot from the inside of an SUV by rapper Tory Lanez following an argument she says was about "normal friend stuff." However, in the CBS Mornings interview, she explained that what started out as a typical argument between friends quickly spun out of control. "Like, this was one of them times where it was, like, it shouldn't have got this crazy… so I get out of the car, and it's like everything happens so fast. And all I hear is this man screaming," she shared, before adding, "And I'm just like, 'Oh, my God.' Like, he shot a couple of times. And I– I was so scared."

"If I take the wrong step, I don't know if he's gonna shoot something that's, like, super important. I don't know if he could shoot me and kill me," she added, wiping tears from her eyes. Megan later opened up about her injuries and the events following the shooting, saying that the police had showed up at the scene in response to a "disturbance." Discovering the SUV when they arrived, they found passengers Tory Lanez, Megan, and one other woman, as well as a concealed gun in the vehicle. Just a few days later, Megan shared in a statement that she'd been wounded due to gunshots and had to have bullets surgically removed from her feet.

However, she did not identify Tory Lanez as the shooter until the following month, in August 2020. "You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lyin' and shit. Stop lyin'. Why lie?" she said in an Instagram Live video, shading the rapper. Earlier this month, Lanez was put in handcuffs during a hearing about the case after it was revealed that he violated a protective order that was set the previous year to prevent him from harassing Megan. But although the Canadian artist was later released after posting a $350,000 bail, Megan's recent tell-all tells us this story is far from over. Stay tuned...
