Jamie Foxx is the ultimate entertainer, and his latest comedy film, Day Shift, is no exception. The latest Netflix flick stars Foxx alongside the hilarious Dave Franco, giving audiences everywhere the perfect summer film. Oh, not to mention Snoop Dogg makes an appearance as well! So let's take a closer look at what goes down when Foxx, Franco, and Uncle Snoop link up in the latest action-packed adventure...
For starters, when it comes to Jamie Foxx: the man can do it all. From his quick beats on stage to his Oscar-award-winning moment for Ray, his quirky comedies, and now Day Shift, his latest endeavor seems very promising. Although the vampire genre is quite a popular one, we can't say we've ever seen Foxx as a vampire-hunter before. The multi-talented actor has sunk his teeth into this one - and we're loving it.
The film follows Foxx as Bud Jablonski, a professional vampire hunter who was kicked out of the official vampire hunters union for breaking one too many rules... so, he started cleaning pools in the San Fernando Valley. However, he still kills vampires and sells their fangs for some extra cash as a side hustle. But when his ex-wife, Jocelyn Jablonski (Megan Good), tells him she wants to move away with their young daughter, Bud returns back to the union. But there is one condition: He is set up with a rep from the union, Seth (Dave Franco), to supervise him. But the two hit it off, and the shy accountant slowly becomes Bud's partner in crime. Audiences can immediately see the chemistry between the two, and according to Foxx, he has had his sights set on the Neighbors star for years.

"I have been tracking Dave Franco for a long time. I've even pitched him movies, I said I gotta be in business with this guy, and now finally here we are," Foxx told Complex. "I don't call it a coming-out party because we already know how great he is, but to me, he got a chance to flex every muscle that I knew he would be able to do and just take over the film. Every time we came to set, I was wondering, what's he going to bring?" So make sure to catch the duo we never knew we needed in Day Shift, now available on Netflix.
