We've seen lots of big-timers slay the SNL stage, but that doesn't make Saweetie's recent debut any less legendary. For the first time ever, the Tap In hitmaker took to the mic to show us how it's done at Rockefeller Plaza's Studio 8H. From her icy ensemble to Icy Chain, here's what went down.

On Saturday, November 20, all eyes were on Saweetie as she tapped in to the New York stage. The artist opened up her set with a slowed-down rendition of Tap In before turning the heat up a bit with her next track. After ditching her gown for a curvy bodysuit instead, the rapper belted out an unforgettable performance of Best Friend.

As the night continued, though, Saweetie had even more tricks up her sleeves. Alongside some sharp choreography and even sharper backdrops, the rapper revealed her new single Icy Chain for the very first time. Clearly, the girl knows how to keep us on our toes. But the award-nominated performer won't be stopping anytime soon. In fact, her latest debut is just a taste of what's to come.

In case you forgot, the Bay Area native has a debut album set to drop very "soon," as she teased to Billboard. And while, yes, we were supposed to have our hands on the drop already this past summer, you can bet it'll be well worth the wait. "This album needs to have feelings, it needs to have soul, it needs to have spirit," she explained of Pretty B*tch Music's delay. "I have a lot of room for improvement, so I'm gonna work on that."

Well, you heard it here first. Better make room on that Spotify playlist because Pretty B*tch Music is lining up to be a drop like no other. From the guest features to the bilingual tracks, our Icy Bae is just as excited as we are. "I need people to know who Diamonte is, and not just who Saweetie is," she said. Consider us intrigued...
