Cardi B has dropped the music video for her latest hip-hop track, Hot Sh*t - and it's definitely hot. The artist gave her fans a brief teaser last weekend before the video officially dropped July 12. Hot Sh*t is Cardi's latest single from her highly anticipated untitled upcoming sophomore album, following Invasion of Privacy- her debut album in 2018. Here's what to expect.
The New York City-born rapper publicly entered the music scene in 2015, with her hit song Bodak Yellow released a few years later. Since then, the world has never turned back. Cardi is dropping hit after hit after hit, and Hot Sh*t is no different. The single features fellow hip-hop icons Kanye West and Lil Durk. And it's safe to say, both the video and the song are nothing short of iconic.
In a recent interview with New Music Daily, Cardi opened up to the outlet regarding the "drama" she went through to complete the music video. "This video, oh my goodness. I don't want to talk about the video because this video has brought me so much drama. Not with the artists, though," she said. "I don't really do CGI. So this is my first time trying CGI. It was something very different for me. I couldn't maneuver or move how I wanted to because I was very confused. After I finished the video, I find out that this sh*t takes so long. I did this video around March, and it's still not even ready yet." Well, now it's out, baby, and it slays!

The music video features Cardi standing on top of a skyscraper decked out in a latex futuristic black body suit as she raps over a busy city and struts her stuff. Throughout the video, we see the WAP singer dripping in icy cold jewels as well as rocking two robotic arms at certain points. Both Lil Durk and Ye make appearances in the three-and-a-half-minute music video, despite Ye's face being covered the whole time. We're pumped to see Cardi back on top (literally), so make sure to catch her latest video here.
