Deemed as "The Best Rapper Alive," according to GQ, Future is livin' at the top, and he ain't coming down anytime soon. Fans have been dying to know what's up with his upcoming studio album, as the Atlanta native has kept the name and tracklist on the DL... until now.
The artist officially announced to his fans worldwide the title of his ninth studio album, I Never Liked You. Not only did he drop the album title, but he shared the 16-track playlist ya'll will be playing on repeat real soon. Future is releasing the upcoming album two years following High Off Life - which was certified platinum just a few months after it dropped. No pressure or anything for the "The Best Rapper Alive" with this album, right? That won't be a problem. Linking up with fellow hip-hop artists, such as Drake, Gunna, Young Thug, Kanye West, and more - you already know we're in for a treat.
"I'm putting myself out there," the artist shared in an interview with GQ regarding what fans can expect to hear on I Never Liked You. "Sharing my lifestyle with the world. Sharing my pain with the world. Sharing my ups, sharing my downs with the entire universe. I believe in the energy of the universe and manifestation. That's why I'm giving myself, because I'm willing to correct myself. I don't want to just… be wrong. I'm willing to give you all of me, so you can tell me how to build on me, and make me a better me." With that in mind, we love this guy even more - but we are wondering who the album is inspired by. Sounds like there's some unsolved risky business there...
