DJ Khaled confirmed the one and only legendary Jay-Z has locked in a verse on the producer's upcoming 13th studio album, God Did. Jay is no stranger to working with Khaled, as the two have collaborated on some pretty iconic records in the past, like I Got the Keys and SORRY NOT SORRY, so we're pumped to see where this one is going to go. The Major Key artist took the exciting news to his Instagram to let his 30 million followers know HOV is here.

In a recent sit-down with Kevin Hart, the comedian asked Jay point black if he's retired from music, to which the artist simply replied, "Nah, I tried that." The Empire State of Mind artist made it clear, "I'm not actively making music or making an album or have plans to make an album, but I never want to say that I'm retired. It's a gift, so who am I to shut it off?" What a relief for all of us. Hov continued to surprise us when he told Hart he never charges fellow artists for laying down lyrics on a track. "It's mostly relationships. It's actually always been mostly relationships," he said. "Sometimes it's talent, and sometimes someone asks me to be on something. Pretty much every song that I'm on, I'm asked to be on. I don't ask people to be on their songs." Well, he definitely doesn't have to ask anyone; he is HOV, after all.

Khaled shared a collage of photos to his Instagram showing Roc Nation's executive Lenny "Kodak Lens" Santiago and a shot of himself acting more than stoked about Jay's verse on the album. "HOV DID!!!" Khaled excitingly wrote. "HOV VOCALS IS IN! WOW...WOW #HOVDID #GODDID ALBUM COMING SOON !!!!!! @wethebestmusic @rocnation @kodaklens @youngguru763 !!!!!!!!!! HOV LOVE FOREVER BROTHER !!!!!!!!WOW! PLEASE SWIPE ! SO U YOU KNOW !!!!!!!!"

The exciting post comes just a couple of days after Khaled uploaded a few photos of the duo hanging out in the studio together, where the producer once again praised Hov for simply being Hov. "They didn't believe in us, HOV DID," Khaled wrote. "And when HOV believes, more HISTORY is made. #GODDID. Thank you my brother for everything you do for US!! HOV DID!! ALBUM ALMOST DONE !!!!!!!!!!!" Whatever they're cooking up in the studio, we can't wait to hear - so stay tuned for the upcoming collab we've all been waiting for.
