Kanye West & More to Headline 2022 Coachella
| LAST UPDATE 01/14/2022
Go ahead and clear those calendars, fam. Coachella 2022 is inching closer and closer, and it's already lining up to be one for the books. Not only will our Christian Genius Billionaire be popping in, but he'll be joined by lots of other legendary faces. Here's what to expect from the upcoming festival. Keep scrolling.
On Wednesday, January 12, Coachella took to the 'gram to first announce the big news: as they revealed, the 3-day gig will be headlined by Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, 'Ye and, wait for it, Swedish House Mafia. Anyone else doing a double-take right now? In case you forgot, the famed DJs have been laying low in recent years, making their return to the booth that much more legendary. In fact, it's been about a decade since we last saw the Swedish hitmakers take to the Indio stage.
Of course, though, they won't be the only comes coming in hot. In addition to our headliners, expect to see lots of big names on that festival stage. As Coachella revealed, the full lineup will include appearances from Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, Daniel Caesar, Big Sean, Karol G, 21 Savage, Doja Cat, and more. From the looks of it, this year's festival will be bringing out all the stops. But if there's perhaps one person noticeably absent from that list? It's, no doubt, La Flame. In case you forgot, Travis Scott was actually slated to headline the 2022 festival as well. But shortly after the Astroworld tragedy back in November, the Highest in the Room artist was dropped from the official lineup.
Safe to say, there was some last minute scrambling involved here. But as far as we're concerned, we've got no complaints. In fact, you can bet we'll be copping a ticket when the official presale for Weekend 2 drops on January 14. Be sure to register in advance on the official site so that you don't miss your shot. Seriously - Weekend 1 tickets sold out at lightning speed. And something tells us these won't last long either. Stay tuned.
