Nas has just released the third installment of his King's Disease series, and well, it's fire. The east coast rap king teased the project last year when he released his 15th studio album, Magic, just a few months after the release of King's Disease II. And fast forward a year, and we're here! So, let's take a closer look.

The east coast legend released the first King's Disease album back in 2020, with hits like Replace Me and All Bad. The album skyrocketed in success, so naturally, he produced another. It was on King's Disease II, where the rapper promised fans a third KD installment. "I'm on offense every day until I see the love/KD3 on the way, this just to feed the buzz," he rapped on Ugly. While still keeping the details on the low, Nas' frequent collaborator and producer, Hit-Boy, took to his Twitter to confirm the news. However, things were kept pretty quiet until the rapper announced the album art, tracklist, and release date on Instagram.

A huge part of the King's Disease album is thanks to California native, Hit-Boy, one of the best producers in the industry. According to the producer, it was "after the first two or three sessions" working together that they decided to create an entire project together, and then King Disease was born. The synergy between the two artists was undeniably magnetic, that they continued to work side by side for Nas' following three albums." "I feel like every song we make, without even consciously doing it, we're trying to make it better than the last," Nas explained. "It's just already embedded in us to do that. I feel like as long as we keep taking that approach, it's going to get crazier and crazier, and that's what happened." Yes, sir!

The newly released album has 17 tracks, including Ghetto Reporter, First Time, Beef, Don't Shoot, and the bonus trackTil My Last Breath. In addition to Nas' recent masterpiece, the rapper announced he will be performing a King's Disease trilogy show for one night only at Madison Square Garden on February 24, 2023, so make sure to jump on those tickets before they are sold out!
