Is there anything Ye can't do? The rapper has officially launched DONDA Sports, his first-ever sports clothing line - and already after 48 hours, has two major athletes signed to the brand. West's sports marketing agency has officially signed three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald and 2021 NBA All-Star Jaylen Brown, with NFL star Antonio Brown as the organization's president. The deal will not affect the athletes' contracts on the field (or court), only their current marketing projects...
DONDA Sports is Kanye's latest endeavor into the world of fashion and sports. The multi-talented artist just announced the first-ever sports clothing line, with three pieces available for purchase on the official site. The first drop includes a hoodie, shorts, and a pair of DONDA Sports socks. Although the pieces are technically already available, they won't be ready to ship until 8-12 weeks from now - but we're sure they'll be nothing short of fire. Until then, we'll be seeing Aaron Donald and Jaylen Brown rocking the new logo.
Super Bowl winner, Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams, has officially signed a deal with West's latest project, revealing it was a "no-brainer" to join the agency. In an interview on the I Am Athlete podcast, Donald explained more about the partnership and how he feels about joining "the whole family atmosphere" that's happening over at DONDA Sports. "I think it's a helluva opportunity to open up a lot of different doors and a lot of different things outside of football that I wanna be involved in, that I wanna do, that my wife wanna do. So to be a part of that and be one of the best first athletes to be a part of that it's pretty dope. We're excited about it, and we're gonna see where this thing goes," he shared. And we're excited too.
In addition to Donald, NBA Celtics player Jaylen Brown has also joined the DONDA Sports fam. After Ye attended a Warriors and Celtics game in March, the two made things official when they posed for a picture together, shaking hands, finalizing the deal. Besides joining the latest and hottest marketing agency in town, Brown will be playing in the 2022 NBA Finals against the Warriors this month, hoping to take home that ring. Until then, stay tuned.
