Seven weeks into the NFL season, and things are looking pretty good for Aaron Rodgers. With a six-game winning streak, the quarterback's time as a Green Bay Packer has him scoring more touchdowns than the ones on that field. But don't quote us on that one - here's what the football legend had to say for himself...

For starters, he may have gotten off to a rocky start, but the star quarterback is officially coasting through the season. With 1,710 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, and only three interceptions, Rodgers is officially 10 steps ahead of the game. But don't sleep on him - he's just getting started.

"I love football and I'm completely invested in the season," the pro-athlete assured during a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. "At the end of the day, it's a game and you gotta have fun with it." Agreed - and hey, it's pretty easy to have fun when each game has you taking home a win. Isn't it?

But don't think it's gotten to his head. In fact, far from it, actually. "Life is about perspective... I'm just daily counting the blessings that I have in life and just have so much gratitude for these moments," Rogers confessed. "For the fact that I’m 37, I'm still playing, still playing at a high level, and still get to have fun moments each week, including on this show."

Safe to say, Rogers has come a long way since his bumpy off-season. In case you forgot, the NFL star had retirement on his radar just a few months ago before ultimately heading off for training camp. But don't worry - those feelings are long gone. "When the weather changes and the leaves start coming off the trees, I get a little twinkle in my eye because I know football season is about to really start."
