Love him or hate him, Fat Joe will continue to stand tall... in a pair of Yeezy NSLTD boots. The rapper recently made waves online after stepping out in 'Ye's questionable design. But it doesn't look like he'll be losing any sleep over it. In fact, as far as Joey Crack's concerned, he's actually ten steps ahead of the game. Here's what went down.

It all started on January 28, when the hip-hop legend took to the 'gram to flex his latest 'fit. Well, or at least try to. "Waiting on the snow," Joe wrote, alongside a snap of him in New York, dressed down in a flashy ensemble. Sporting a pink Celine hoodie, tan Balenciaga jacket, and oversized denim, the Lean Back artist was practically hard to miss. But perhaps the most striking part? Of course, the Yeezy NSLTD boots - something the internet had lots to say about...

"Fat Joe out here looking like Streetwear Winnie the Pooh," one user chimed in. "Fool! Fat Joe needs to lean the EFF Back," shaded another. The rapper's should-have-been flex soon turned him into the face of endless memes. And while most of us might be laughing, Fat Joe doesn't seem to be getting the joke. In fact, he may have been a good sport about it at first, but he soon took to the 'gram to hit back. "What the **** do y'all mean by, 'Dress your age?'… Should I wear a golf shirt?" he fired on Instagram Live, alongside journalist Brian "B.Dot" Miller. "I don't know if you know this, I've been so fly that it's, like, working against me now. I'm getting backlash for being so fly… I wanna know why I can't be fresh. Those Yeezy boots are sold out."

Whether you agree with the guy or not, Crack has got one takeaway message for the rest of us: "Fashion ain't for everybody. Everybody just don't get it," Joe explained. "The [Yeezy] boot is good money. I'm telling you. I'm ready to sell this boot. I'm ready to make an NFT of this boot… The boot is here to stay." You heard the guy - stay tuned. He (and his Yeezys) aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
