| LAST UPDATE 10/17/2021
After creating 18 models of shoes, you might think that LeBron James would be out of fresh ideas. But, with Nike's help, the basketball star has released a 19th pair and proved that he still has some tricks up his sleeve. In fact, these kicks are extra special...
After the release of Nike's LeBron 18, a mostly black design with orange detail, James surprised shoe fanatics with the LeBron 19. Not only are they brightly colored, but the latest sneakers coordinate with the iconic hues and release of the new film, Space Jam: A New Legacy.
James designed a "Sweatsuit" colorway set of sneakers along with a "Tune Squad" colorway pair for this collab. And, in a history-making turn of events, an iconic signature shoe will be featured in a debuting movie for the first time! Talk about the perfect way to make an entrance into the world...
The basketball legend has been gearing up to have his latest creation blasted across the big screen come July 16th, and we can guess that he's expecting a sell-out both in terms of the flick and the kicks! These shoes might retail at $200, but to have matching shoes with LeBron James? Priceless.
Senior Designer Jason Petrie designed the shoes with a requested "Otherworldly feel." And, while fans fall in love with these colorful creations, attention has been brought to the commonalities of the high-reaching tongues and exterior heels between the LeBron 19 and LeBron 9.

While they may mimic each other in some ways, the LeBron 19s were designed to perfectly match the one-of-a-kind jerseys worn by LeBron, Bugs Bunny, and the rest of the Looney Tunes crew in the upcoming movie. And there's reportedly more to come once the film actually premieres! Yup, we mean more sneaks. We'll make sure to keep you in the know when the full collection comes out.
