Rihanna Teases Savage x Fenty Valentine’s Day Drop
| LAST UPDATE 01/19/2022
RiRi has just given us a glimpse into her plans for the 14th of February. She recently posted photos to her Instagram page, in which she modeled a piece from Savage X Fenty's Valentine's Day collection. And we've got a feeling you'll want to see it for yourself. Keep scrolling.
It looks like the Fenty queen is bringing back all things sexy to this year's Valentine's Day. In honor of the holiday, Fenty's latest campaign had Rihanna rocking a dark red bodysuit with a deep V neck, while also showcasing her ink and several diamond chains. She then topped off the fiery look with red fishnet tights. Clenched in one of her hands, a lip gloss from her beauty brand, Fenty Beauty, was also in full display. No doubt, this goddess isn't planning to let this winter weather dampen her mood this V-day. And we love to see it.
"Slip into somethin' sexy. To: You. From: You," RiRi later noted. The theme of this year's V-Day collection is self-love. As teased in another campaign video, the festive drop includes the sexy red lace-up suit documented above - along with the new shade of Fenty's Gloss Bomb HEAT, Lavender Savage. Rihanna teased the line in her latest post, which has raked in over 5 million likes: "Valentine's Day is for me.... but you can watch," she revealed, alongside a kissy-face emoji and the hashtag #XXSAVAGEX. For the Barbados singer, this year is all about expressing ourselves - in our own unique ways. "Being in lockdown, all you have is really yourself - your mind, your own thoughts, your imagination," she explained. "And it forces a lot of creativity out of a lot of people. You come up with incredible material because you're forced to be with yourself."
Safe to say, the Anti artist has once again up the stakes when it comes to fashion. Will you be channeling your inner Savage for Valentine's Day this year? Or will you be copping the lacy line for your significant other? Be sure to check out the Savage X Fenty V-Day collection for yourself. And, of course, stay tuned.
