When Crocs first hit the stores in the early 2000s, they were known mainly as kids' footwear or as the perfect choice for lounging around at home or at the pool. But over the years, the brand has evolved to be something of a street style staple - and we're not the only ones who think so. For years, SZA has been going on about her "wear with literally everything" footwear of choice, and it led her to the collab of a lifetime...

The Kiss Me More artist partnered with the infamous footwear brand to bring to life two unique styles just to the artist's taste. Her release included a classic clog and classic slide - perfect for summer fits. SZA, who has been known to throw in camouflage or outdoorsy prints at every chance, jumped at the shot to design her own shoe pattern and went with a woodgrain to match the outdoor theme. She also included a collection of Jibbitz in her limited release. The mini buttons that fit inside the Crocs' holes can now be decorated by SZA's array of evil eyes, Earths, asthma pumps, mushrooms, and amethysts.

SZA's been known to collaborate with some of the biggest names in music like Kendrick Lamar and Doja Cat, but a collab with a shoe company is a whole other story. However, when asked about it, the singer loved the experience overall. "I'm a really visual person," she explained during her interview with The Cut. "It's just been a really fun extension of who I am. I'm grateful that I get to kind of brain-vomit myself into a pair of very comfortable shoes." And the result is need-to-have shoes for this summer. "A chill mind deserves chill shoes," the singer explained on the 'gram in celebration of the release.

You can check out the new drop over at the online Crocs store - but something tells us they won't be around long. Stay tuned for more updates and collabs from the world of fashion.
