Kanye West first revealed his collaboration with Gap back in June 2020, and the first installment dropped in February of 2022. The unlikely pairing became one of the most sought-after collabs of all time, with both brands stepping out of their comfort zone to produce big things. The ten-year partnership has ensured Gap's street credit for the time being and has only increased Ye's popularity for bringing Yeezy-inspired pieces at a much more affordable price. And there's more headed our way...

The artist dropped the first Yeezy X Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collection in February, and now the timeless trio is back for round two. Hints of the pieces from the upcoming second drop were in the artist's latest music video, Life of the Party, a song from Ye's latest album, Donda 2. Life of the Party, featuring Andre 3000, was a fan favorite from the album, so fans were psyched to get the video and a preview of the Gap and Yeezy mashup.

For those who missed it - the video featured a slideshow of photos from Kanye's childhood, digitally altered to show a young Ye repping the upcoming Yeezy X Gap Engineered by Balenciaga pieces. Appropriately dropped on Mother's Day, the clip saw Ye and Andre sing to Kanye's late mother, Donda West.

Based on the Life of the Party video, we got a glimpse of the next round of Yeezy X Gap Engineered by Balenciaga pieces - and it looks dope. The upcoming drop will include a black sweatshirt and a puffer shell, as well as a quarter zip shell with the Gap logo in small letters on the front; however, there is no update on the price points for this collection. The artist was recently seen sporting the quarter-zip, so we know the styles are Ye approved. The first drop included denim jackets, jeans, hoodies, tees, and a few more pieces - and everything sold out immediately, so we can only imagine how round two will go. The items will be available for purchase on May 25 on the Yeezy X Gap website, Balenciaga's online website, and their partner websites, Mytheresa, Farfetch, and LuisaViaRoma. Until then, stay tuned.
